CooperVision® Hy-Care® Solution

We have been advised of a voluntary recall by contact lens solutions manufacturer, CooperVision, of Hy-Care® multipurpose contact lens solution (60ml & 360ml bottles).

While the manufacturer sets up a website with information on what to do and how to be reimbursed, please cease use of your Hy-Care® multipurpose contact lens solution and retain the bottle.

FAQS REGARDING THE RECALL

What You Need to Know

The manufacturer’s quality testing determined that the product may not offer appropriate levels of disinfection in some circumstances against high levels of a particular yeast organism.

No complaints have been received and there have been no confirmed incidents attributed to inadequate disinfection. This action is out of an abundance of caution.

Please cease use of your Hy-Care® multipurpose contact lens solution and retain the bottle.

The manufacturer will be setting up a website with information on what to do and how to be reimbursed.
